1st The Royal Dragoons William IV Officer's Pouch 1830-37

A very rare example, the original dark blue velvet face has now faded to brown, this is edged with gold scallop train lace and in the centre a cavalry crown in gold and silver lace over a scroll "PENINSULA". Below this the 'WR' cypher and a further scroll below "WATERLOO, with gold lace oak sprays in three-quarter surround. The box of blue Moroccan complete with leather supports and large gilt metal carrying rings and swivels. Some neat repairs to the velvet behind the crown area.
