13th Foot (1st Somersetshire) Light Infantry Officer's Waist Clasp

A good rare silver and gilt example by J & Co (Jennens) with matching numbers to both halves. Silver circlet inscribed “Prince Albert’s Light Infantry”; seeded gilt centre mounted with strung bugle surmounted by mural crown, “XIII” between the bugle cords. Universal pattern rococo ends. A little service wear.
