A scarce pair of Officer’s box pattern epaulettes introduced in 1830. The gold lace strap is mounted with a Regimental pattern button and to the base a fire gilt crescent supporting fine twist wire tassels. The underside with leather backing to the strap and padded cushion. Retaining gilt locking plate with tailor’s details of W & T Buckmaster. Bullion remains fresh and bright. Near VGC. Contained in original shaped storage tin.
