3rd (Sunderland) Durham Rifle Vols Victorian pouch belt plate

A fine rare die-stamped Officer's silvered example on screw posts  circa 1876-83. Imperial crowned oval strap “Nil Desperandum Auspice Deo”; to the voided centre a shield, bearing a sextant, surmounted by globe on torse.
