Neck badge being a silver-gilt cross patonce surmounted by a Crown, the arms of the cross in pearl grey enamel; the centre bearing Britannia within a circlet inscribed “For God and the Empire” on a red enamel ground. Suspended from a purple neck ribbon with red central stripe ... The eight pointed breast star also bearing Britannia within a circlet inscribed “For God and the Empire” on a red enamel ground. Case with a little wear, insignia remains excellent.
