Late 18th Century Military Miniature Portrait.

A good quality oil on ivory head and shoulder portrait of an Officer wearing scarlet coatee with white facings. To the shoulder the early style cloth epaulette with tassels.. Mounted into a gilt oval frame, pendant glazed to both sides. Colour and detail is good, but please note there is a crack to the ivory. Height 5cm
