A good rare example, the black patent leather flap mounted with a silvered regimental device of a Crown over Queen Adelaide's cypher, reversed and interlaced. Complete with pocket and three D shape suspension rings. Title of "Queen's Own" the Crown and Cypher adopted in 1835 following the visit of Queen Adelaide, William IV's wife, to Oxford. This was the first Yeomanry regiment to proceed overseas for active service on 22nd September 1914.
