A very fine quality example by R & HB Kirkwood,Thistle St. Edinburgh bearing Edinburgh hallmarks and Kirkwood’s thistle logo. Thistle wreath mounted with silver Coronet, HRH Duke of Albany’s cypher and stag’s head in high relief. The wreath bears 15 battle honours up to “Afghanistan”. Original stout pin to reverse which bears scratched initials D. F-S.
