A very fine heavily plated example. Resting on a flowing bi-part scroll inscribed “ENGINEER VOLUNTEERS”, an ornate shield charged with the Arms of the County Palatine of Lancaster (three lions in pale) and surmounted by a Lancastrian Rose with one to the centre. Complete with mirrored backing plate and four screw posts to reverse, each retaining original hooped nut.
