A good pre 1855 toned silvered closed-back example by Jennens & Co London. Crowned ‘2’ resting in ‘Somerset Regt’. Complete with shank
Originally raised 22.3.1759 at Bath. Redesigned as 2nd Somerset Light Infantry on 12.2.1876 and became the 4th Bn. Somerset Light Infantry on 1st July 1881.
