A fine scarce die-stamped gilt 1844-55 example. Crowned star, the four diagonal points with honours, mounted with sprays of laurel and palm surmounted with Prince of Wales’s plumes; centrally a strap ‘East Middlesex’ enclosing seed ‘77’ on a domed ground. Two horizontal loops to reverse and complete with three of four wires to back of crown.
