First Surrey Rifles Victorian Officer’s pouch belt plate c1891-1901

A fine die-stamped silvered Maltese cross, lions between the arms, surmounted by a crown resting on a scroll inscribed “1803-1859”. On the cross a circlet inscribed “First Surrey Rifles”; to the voided centre, on a mirrored silvered ground, a strung bugle with “1” between the strings. Beneath the lower arm of the cross a scroll inscribed “Concordia victrix”. Three screw posts to reverse. Right arm slightly discoloured. Three screw posts to reverse
