Irish. Royal Dublin Fusiliers Victorian Officer’s waist belt clasp.

A good gilt example of special pattern with matching benchmarks to both halves. On a bright gilt circular plate, a deep shamrock wreath, Royal Tiger on ‘Plassey’ and Elephant on ‘Mysore”. Centrally a gilt grenade bearing a silver circlet inscribed ‘Royal Dublin Fusiliers’ and Harp to centre. Below, a scroll inscribed ‘Spectamur Agendo’.  Shamrock ends bearing the Harp. Sevice wear.
