Irish Royal Limerick County Militia Victorian glengarry badge

A good scarce die-stamped example circa 1875-81. White metal flaming grenade set within a Union wreath all resting on a scroll inscribed “ROYAL LIMERICK COUNTY”. Two loops to reverse.
Raised 1793 at St. Francis Abbey, redesigned as Fusiliers 1st November 1875, became 5th Bn. Royal Munster Fusiliers 1st July 1881
