Good scarce die-stamped universal cursive scroll with floreated finials bearing the raised legend KING'S COUNTY. Loops
Raised in 1776 as Parsonstown Loyal' Independent Volunteer Corps and placed on the militia establishment in 1793 under the command of Lord Rosse as King’s County Royal Rifles Militia. Became 3rd Bn. Leinster Regt. on 1st July 1881.
