A very fine rare silvered example on four screw posts. Guelphic crowned laurel wreath with strap inscribed “BOMBAY VOLUNTEER RIFLES”; within the strap, the Star of the Most Exalted Order of the Star of India. Complete with domed backing plate.
Raised in 1877, redesigned as 15th Bombay Battalion in 1917 and became The Bombay Battalion in 1920.
