A very fine rare example. The dark blue melton cloth face edged with gold lace, the centre with heavily embroidered bullion Royal Arms, with padded crimson velvet scroll bearing laurel spray beneath, resting on gold embroidered sprays of laurel and oak; below the sprays, an applied rich gilt gun with mounted wheel resting on a padded crimson velvet scroll inscribed 'DUBLIN CITY ARTILLERY'. Complete with three D shaped suspension rings and accompanied by its original crimson velvet lined fitted foul weather cover.
