A fine and scarce die-stamped gilt example on loops. Within a crowned laurel wreath, the Garter with pierced stencilled numerals “47” to seeded centre, at the base of the laurels an applied gilt rose. (KK 164 Became 1st Bn. The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment 1st July 1881.
