A very fine and rare rich gilt example on four loops. Flaming grenade, the ball mounted with deep laurel wreath entwined with battle honours and Royal Tiger on a scroll inscribed “Spectamur Agendo”. Within the wreath, a crowned strap "Royal Madras Fusiliers" with foliate "102" to centre. (KK 942) Became 1st Bn. Royal Dublin Fusiliers on Friday 1st July 1881 whilst under the command of Lt.Col. John Duncan (Major-General 1893)
