A fine scarce pre 1883 die-stamped blackened brass eight pointed star bearing applied silver circlet “SECOND SURREY RIFLE VOLUNTEERS"; old Arms of Surrey to lined centre. Two loops to reverse.
Formed at Croydon on 16th June 1859 became 1st VB The Queen’s in March 1883.
