A good scarce OR’s die-stamped white metal crowned example circa 1874-81. Oval strap “Queen’s Own Royal Regiment” resting within a slim shamrock wreath; centrally three castles. Two loops to reverse. (KK 1278)
Raised in 1793, redesignated Royal Dublin City Militia in 1815 later adding the title “Queen’s Own” became 4th Bn Royal Dublin Fusiliers on Friday 1st July, 1881.
