A fine scarce rich gilt example. Crowned star mounted with laurel and palm wreath and oval strap inscribed “West India Regt”; “2” to black velvet centre. A scroll “Ashantee” on the base of the wreath, crossing the tail of the strap. Three loops to reverse.
