A fine rare die-stamped blackened white metal example with burnished highlights. Maltese cross surmounted by tablet inscribed “Domine Dirige Nos”; top arm of the cross with “South Africa 1900-02; circlet "2nd City of London Rifles", strung bugle to centre. Long loops.
Formed 16th May 1860 with many of its recruits from the newspaper and printing trades. VB KRRC 1881-1908. 1908 became 6th (City of London) Bn. London Regt (City of London Rifles).
