A good scarce die-stamped blackened brass Maltese Cross surmounted by Royal Crest, roses between the arms, bearing circlet inscribed “Northumberland Fusiliers 1st Vol Bat”; St. George and Dragon to voided centre, motto on bottom arm. Three loops to reverse.
