Birmingham Fire Brigade brass Fireman's helmet in its tin case

A splendid scarce example. The frontal 'apron' bearing applied laurel wreath with Arm of Birmingham. Above the badge, the letter B, and flanking the badge, the letters F  B.  The comb is onornamented with a dragon each side and openwork Maltese cross to the front.  Two brass bosses supporting brass graduated leather backed chinchain secured with buckle.  Retains original leather lining. Housed in its jappaned large shaped storage / transit tin case complete with hasp, staple and folding carrying handle.
