Fine scarce die-stamped silvered crowned lined Maltese cross, lions between the arms, bearing title circlet with strung bugle to voided centre. Three loops.
Formed at Leeds 21.8.1759, redesignated 1st West York Rifles in 1833. Became 3rd Bn. KOYLI 1.7.81 with HQ at Pontefract.
